Positive/Negative prayers
If what you ask from God will harm another, it is negative praying. Positive means those things you ask for that will not only favour you but also help others.
Experience
Whenever I had a stressful Boss in the office, I always pray for his/her promotion not just transfer, One of my bosses actually confessed that he prayed to work with me because most of my former bosses get promoted.
